Awesomate N8N Hosting Plans and Hub Overview

1. Choose the right hosting plan for your needs 0:00

  • Awesomate offers four N8N hosting/service plans.

  • The main decision is whether you want:

    • just managed infrastructure,

    • support while you build,

    • a team to build workflows for you, or

    • a fully custom dedicated solution.

Plan summary

  • Essentials: fully managed infrastructure for your N8N account.

  • Support Plus: help from automation engineers while you build.

  • Automations Pro: Awesomate builds workflows for you.

  • Custom / Dedicated Team: a tailored engagement for larger or more complex needs.

  • You focus on building workflows, not managing the system.

10. Use variables and templates 7:36

Variables

  • Variables work like placeholders that get replaced in prompts or system messages.

  • Helpful when you want to update a value across multiple automations at once.

Templates

  • Redeem templates shared in webinars or by Awesomate.

  • Enter the template code, preview it, and configure it in your account.

  • Available to all accounts.

11. Submit a Build Request if you want Awesomate to build the workflow 9:59

  • The Build Requests area is for customers who want Awesomate to build an AI-powered workflow for them.

  • Best for people who:

    • do not have a workflow engineer

    • are new to N8N

    • want to delegate the build

  • Click Start a Build Request to begin.

12. Fill out the build request carefully 10:48

  • The request is designed to capture everything the team needs to build the workflow correctly.

  • Take your time; the transcript recommends at least 30 minutes.

  • The more detail you provide, the better the result.

Step 1: Name and describe the workflow

  • Give the workflow a clear name.

  • Write a plain-language description of what it should do.

  • You can paste in SOP text or copy text from a document.

  • The form is text-based at this stage, not file-upload based.

Step 2: Explain the outcome and current process

  • Describe what matters most:

    • speed

    • time savings

    • reliability

  • If there is a manual process today, explain it step by step.

  • You can use AI to help draft or refine the description.

13. Define volume, impact, and viability 14:06

  • Provide details about how often the process runs.

  • Estimate how many items happen per run.

  • Estimate how long the manual process takes.

  • Explain what happens if the process fails.

  • The form calculates a viability score to help determine whether the workflow is worth automating.

  • High-frequency, high-impact, time-consuming tasks are the best candidates.

14. Review AI suggestions and refine the workflow spec 15:37

  • The form generates an AI analysis based on your answers.

  • You can:

    • apply suggestions

    • rerun the analysis

    • regenerate the output

  • Suggested items may include:

    • trigger type

    • linked apps

    • processing steps

  • Review carefully and remove anything irrelevant.

15. Complete the specification phase 16:47

Trigger details

  • Specify what starts the workflow if you know it.

  • If you are unsure, you can say so.

Apps and services

  • List the systems involved, such as Shopify or a CRM.

  • Remove irrelevant app suggestions.

Data contracts

  • Review the incoming and outgoing data structure.

  • Use AI sampling if helpful, but verify accuracy.

Processing steps

  • Confirm the workflow logic.

  • Add missing steps if needed.

  • Indicate whether the workflow has branching paths, strict ordering, or near-real-time requirements.

16. Set error handling, security, and acceptance criteria 19:47

Error handling

  • Define what should happen if something fails.

  • You can ask AI to suggest an error plan.

  • If it does not fit your needs, clear it or say you do not know.

Security and compliance

  • Share any business-specific security or compliance requirements.

  • This is important because every business has different obligations.

Acceptance criteria

  • Define what success looks like.

  • Include:

    • happy path

    • successful edge case

    • failure case

  • Review AI-generated drafts and edit them to match your expectations.

17. Assign ownership and review the final spec 21:37

  • Identify who is responsible for the workflow.

  • Add a backup contact if possible.

  • Specify any maintenance windows or times when updates can happen.

  • Review the final spec carefully.

  • Check the Mermaid diagram if you want a visual flow of the workflow.

  • Submit only after confirming everything is accurate.

18. Submit the request and understand credit usage 23:00

  • After submission, Awesomate confirms the request and deducts a credit.

  • One credit generally covers about two hours of workflow engineering time.

  • More complex workflows may take longer and will be discussed separately.

  • The service is best suited for workflows that save around 10–15 minutes of manual work.

19. Upgrade your plan if needed 24:08

  • Go to the Billing section to upgrade from Essentials.

  • Choose Monthly or Yearly billing.

  • The system charges the prorated difference until the next billing period.

  • Upgrading to Support Plus or Automations Pro unlocks additional features like file access.

20. Get help or book a session 25:02

  • Email hello@awesomate.ai with questions.

  • Book a session with the team if you need help:

    • configuring your account

    • setting up AI agents

    • building workflows

  • Sessions connect you with an Awesomate workflow engineer.
