If you see a “not active member” message (sometimes worded as “you don’t seem to be an active member”) when trying to sign in to the Awesomate Hub, it almost always means one thing: the email address you entered doesn’t match the one registered against your Awesomate account. This article explains why that happens and how to get back in.

Why you’re seeing this error

The Awesomate Hub only recognises the exact email address you used when you signed up. If you try to log in with a different address — for example a personal email instead of your work email, or an alias that forwards to the same inbox — the Hub won’t find a matching active account and will show the “not active member” error.

Your account is still active. The Hub simply can’t connect the email you typed to it.

How signing in to the Hub works

The Awesomate Hub uses a passwordless magic link sign-in:

  1. Go to https://hub.awesomate.ai/.
  2. Enter your registered email address.
  3. Check your inbox for an email from Awesomate containing a sign-in link.
  4. Click the link to be signed straight in — no password required.

Because there’s no password, the email address itself is the key. If the address you enter isn’t the one on your account, you’ll hit the “not active member” wall before a magic link is ever sent.

How to work out which email you used

If you’re not sure which address is registered, here are the quickest ways to check:

  • Look for the email address that receives your Awesomate invoices — your billing contact is your Hub login.
  • Search your inbox for past messages from hello@awesomate.ai or other Awesomate onboarding emails.
  • Check which address received your original signup or welcome email.

One Awesomate login per account

The Awesomate Hub is currently accessible to a single user per account. That user is your account admin and billing contact — the person we send invoices to and communicate with to manage your hosting. Only this email can sign in to the Hub.

This is separate from your n8n setup. You can add colleagues to n8n as member users so they can build and run workflows, but that does not give them a separate Awesomate Hub login. Inside Awesomate the account remains a single admin user.

How to update or correct your registered email

If the email on your account is wrong, out of date, or you simply can’t access it, our team can update it for you. Email hello@awesomate.ai and include:

  • Your website
  • Your company name
  • Your n8n subdomain

Those details let us locate your account quickly and change the registered email so you can sign in.

Still stuck?

If you’ve confirmed you’re using the correct email and still see the error, get in touch at hello@awesomate.ai with your website, company name and n8n subdomain, and we’ll sort it out for you.
